Preparatory research: As soon as you approve the quote, I start collecting the required information to ensure that the translation proceeds smoothly. I define the terminology and style according to your preferences and check that everything is clear.
Translation and delivery: I start translating with your goal in mind. By using customized translation memories and terminology management, you can be sure of consistency.
Questions may arise during the translation process. I gather them up and send them to you for approval. This guarantees that we fully understand each other.
I deliver the end result on the agreed date.
Feedback: In case you have any queries regarding the translation, e.g. a last minute adjustment or a sentence that needs to be shorter in order to fit into the final layout, please feel free to let me know. I will make sure that the finishing touches are added.

There are two types of transcription:

Edited transcription
The spoken text is written out, but stammers, hesitations or repetitions are omitted.
Punctuation is used to make the text more easily readable and language errors are corrected.

The emphasis is on the content of the conversation.

This type is used for interviews, meetings, audio notes, qualitative research with a focus on content.

Verbatim transcription
The spoken text is written out literally, including interjections, repetitions, filler words, grammatical errors, etc.

The emphasis is on the content and intonation of the conversation.

This type is used for legal purposes, studies focusing on intonation, psychological research.
